LONG RANGE PRECISION FIRES
The Long Range Precision Fires CFT is looking to modernize virtually the entire suite of Army indirect fires systems as well as introduce an array of new capabilities and systems. It is pursuing a multiphase program designed to first improve and then transform the capabilities of its artillery, rocket, and missile systems.
FUTURE VERTICAL LIFT
The Future Vertical Lift (FVL) CFT is developing a new family of next-generation military helicopters for the Army. These new platforms will replace the Army’s UH-60 Black Hawk, AH-64 Apache, CH-47 Chinook, and OH-58 Kiowa helicopters.
AIR AND MISSILE DEFENSE
The Air and Missile Defense CFT is updating the current air and missile defense infrastructure along with developing new technology to produce a more integrated overall system.
POSITION NAVIGATION AND TIMING
The Positioning, Navigation and Timing (PNT) CFT is a critical enabler for nearly all soldier functions, on and off the field. New PNT technologies will enable warfighters ability to move, communicate, provide command and control, and maintain situational awareness, particularly in GPS denied environments.
Joint Tactical Aerial Resupply (JTARV)
Compiled a database of top large-scale drone companies and brought their tech and capabilities to the Army in a flyoff event
Multicore Qualification and Verification
Created a Community of Interest, including government, industry and university stakeholders, which through a series of workshops defined requirements for certifying multicore processors for mission systems
Brought non-traditional companies with cutting edge technology in AI and autonomy to inform the “advanced teaming” Army team
TECHNOLOGY ASSESSMENT, ROADMAP AND GAP ANALYSIS

Supporting the integration of new technology into mission systems including multicore processors.

Utilizing proprietary tools to identify new research partners, potential licensees and cutting-edge technology
Developed an internship program placing students in Army labs to get hands-on experience and consider future careers with the Army

Brought innovative new test and measurement and composite repair technologies to enhance helicopter overhaul activities at the Corpus Christi Army Depot.
